MYCOMATIC® Burma Spore Syringe (P. Cubensis)
Strain Origin
Experience the magic of the Burma strain with our high-quality Burma Spore Syringes. Originally found growing on buffalo dung in the Southeast Asian region of Burma (now known as Myanmar), this Cubensis variety was presented to mycologist John Allen (AKA “Mushroom John Allen”) by a Thai student who collected specimens around the city of Rangoon.
Spore Features
Burma mushroom spores are oval-shaped and dark purple to brownish in color. They form dense, gorgeous prints from the large fruit they produce.
One major factor in why you should buy Burma spores is its rapid and robust mycelium growth. This is fantastic for budding microscopists since it indicates that the mushroom's spores are tough and sturdy.
