Rather, this strain was created in a lab setting with the intention of producing an easy & quickly colonizing cubensis. The mycologist named "The Keeper" succeeded at this task, and now the strain is one of the most popular on earth! Spore Features
Spores are dark purple to brownish, sub-ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. This strain produces a lot of research material, which makes it great for microscopy.
Cultural Significance
Z-Strain is quite enigmatic in this sense in that its effect on mainstream culture & mycology is rather unknown. Unlike Golden Teacher, which has sparked a movement, the Z-strain mushroom flies a bit more under the radar.
