Coast 2 Coast Mycology Melmac Liquid Culture Syringe (P. Cubensis)

Strain Origin

The true origins of Melmac is unclear, but many believe it to be a direct off-shoot of the infamous Penis Envy strain. Other theories suggest Penis Envy either came from Melmac, or both PE and Melmac came from the same source Amazon strain stock Terence and Dennis McKenna brought back with them on their infamous expedition in the 1970s.

Features

It is a little odd-looking, with a thick, contorted stem and a wavy, often split cap. Many P. cubensis strains rather stretch the definition of “strain,” as they are not really all that different from other mushrooms of the same species, but Melmac is pretty distinct.
